Experience the magic of the season at “Christmas Whispers: Songs of the Season,” a candlelit concert by the Sonoro Women’s Choir held in the beautiful and acoustically vibrant Steilacoom Community Church. Led by artistic director Jeremy Shilley, this evening of choral artistry features Sir Christëmas by Derek Holman, a stirring work for women’s choir and chamber orchestra that serves as the heart of the program, bringing medieval Christmas cheer to life with energy and elegance.

The program also includes selections by the Sonoro Women’s 33-voice choir, the intimate 9-voice a cappella ensemble, and a special appearance by the award-winning Steilacoom High School Advanced Treble Choir under the direction of Kasey Eck. Together, they will perform a mix of timeless carols like William Brown’s “Welcome Yule” and modern arrangements such as Kyle Pederson’s “Sing We Now of Christmas.”
